Description: 10/9/2018 The Biology Preserve trail raw data was acquired from the Biology department 10/9/2018. There were many duplicate lines that were deleted and clean up using the 3” Orthos. The lines were buffered to 2’ and added to this feature class. 10/10/2017 I edited the Town of Boone Greenway feature class using the Towns GIS webmap. During the New River South fork stream restoration, the greenway moved away from the river. If needed the lines can be verified using GPS. 10/9/2017 The stadium track was removed from the Boone Greenway feature class and placed into the ASU sports field feature class.2/20/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress. This feature class Tracks_and_Trails_Hyle represent the trails paved and unpaved associated with Appalachian State University, and the Town of Boone Greenway Trail. The polygons were completed using the NC 2014 aerial photography and intimate knowledge of Main campus and outlying trails 9/30/2016. They may be edited as needed.
