2/21/2024 Dan Gryder supplied images and edits around the Student Union, edits complete, ST64-01, ST64-02, ST63-05, and ST64-12. Dan is actively looking for a leak in this area.

8/19/2021 Updated P3, Stadium area Steam Using a Survey Provided by JW Hampton metadata attached to affected points and lines.

3/19/2020 Major edits Informatiuon by Dan Gryder, mainly around the Peacock lots and Duncan and Rankin.

5/14/ 2018 Edited this feature class using a marked up Steam map completed by the Physical Plant Mechanical Shop.

4/10/2018 These features were updated using the knowledge of the Appalachian State Physical Plant staff.

7/25/2017 Images were attached to each of the points (57 of 79 possible located vaults), the images came from Rochester’s many folders a python script was run to place all images into an organized folder. Also 32 PDFs were attached, and extracted in a single folder.

3/6/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress.

A steam vault is an access point where a steam tunnel or steam line can be accessed to repair or perform routine maintenance. In this dataset 60 steam vaults were geolocated between 9/10/2014 and 11/18/2014, 23 of the located steam vaults do not have a date or time listed. All but four of the steam vaults have been photographed. In the column Vault_Num, each of the vaults has a specific number except for 3. The SUMP_ELEV, an MH_DIA (manhole elevation), is zero, and the following columns do not have any data in them: ID, OWNER, INSTALL_YR, SOURCE, VENT, SIZE, Condition, and COMMENTS.
