Description: The snow removal priorities shown on this map are the result of the decisions of Appalachian State University Upper management, and the Landscape division fall 2019. The goal this year to better prioritize snow removal efforts, reducing salt usage and educating the campus community about snow safety. It has been proven dressing for the weather and wearing appropriate footwear prevents many slip trips and falls during winter weather. Please note large sets of steps will not be shoveled immediately from one side to the other, an appropriate path will be established and widened as needed.
