Description: 8/19/2021 Updated P3, Stadium area Steam Using a Survey Provided by JW Hampton metadata attached to affected points and lines. 3/19/2020 Major edits Informatiuon by Dan Gryder, mainly around the Peacock lots and Duncan and Rankin.5/14/ 2018 Edited this feature class using a marked up Steam map completed by the Physical Plant Mechanical Shop.4/12/2018 These features were updated using the knowledge of the Appalachian State Physical Plant staff. 3/6/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress.A steam tunnel or utility tunnel is an underground utility corridor which houses utilities such as steam pipes, fiber optics, electricity, water, sewer pipes, cable television, and even telephone lines. These utilities are organized in this tunnel, and can be easily accessed to preform, maintenance, future upgrades, and repairs as needed. This dataset contains 22 lines with a total length of 6113 feet. No data is available about how and when this data was collected. The Name column has 21 lines named CAD PolyLine and one named CAD 3D PolyLine; whereas, the Layer column has 21 lines named S--F-STEAM-LINE and one named S--F-STEAM-LINE-APPOX.Woodard & Curran, Rochester & Associates, Inc.
