10/10/2017 Now in the SDE 2 pdfs were attached to this polygon that tell a little bit about Appalachian State University biology preserve as well as other outdoor research facilities.

2/20/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress.

The Appalachian State University Nature Preserve consists of just over 67 acres of protected woodlands in the heart of the main campus. There are two headwater streams and a small pond in this Preserve. There are a number of hiking trails throughout this area. The many plant communities are enjoyed by all that venture into the woods, and are used as a living laboratory by many academic departments.
