Description:

This dataset contains geolocated points that represent all bus stops used by Detroit Department of Transportation's (DDOT's) public transit fixed route system as of September 2024. The dataset includes stop ID, latitude, longitude, description of location, corresponding route names and numbers, street direction, and whether or not it contains a shelter, trash can, or bench. This shapefile was updated due to additions and eliminations of bus stops and their amenities. Data was collected through automated passenger counting (APC) systems by the data steward.Please note that any temporary changes in the availability of services at a bus stop are available in the DDOT application that are not referred to in this dataset.
