Service Description: This layer is a cartographic representation of where mowable acres exist on all interstates, state routes, and locally owned NHS routes. Mowable areas are defined as any area covered in grass with a slope less than 3:1 within the state right of way. This information was collected using vehicle mounted LiDAR sensors and cameras and was delivered to TDOT by Mandli Communications, Inc. for TDOT needs. Mowable acres information is also available through the E-TRIMS Maintenance_Inventory layer.
