Service Description: This layer is a cartographic representation of where extruded panel signs have been installed on all interstates, state routes, TDOT maintained state park roads, and locally owned NHS routes. This information was collected using vehicle mounted LiDAR sensors and cameras and was delivered to TDOT by Mandli Communications, Inc. for TDOT needs. Extruded panel sign information is also available through the E-TRIMS Maintenance_Feature layer.

This dataset can be queried by either location information, mounting type, sign orientation, sign type, visual condition, or MUTCD code. These records were derived from vehicle mounted LiDAR sensors and digitally captured photos. This information was collected by Mandli Communications, Inc. under the direction of the Asset Management Division and the Long Range Planning Division.
