Service Description: Feature layer containing all of the cultch reefs constructed along North Carolina's coastline between 1981 and 2024. Cultch reefs are made by the Habitat & Enhancement team under the NC Division of Marine Fisheries. Cultch reefs are made with the intention of oysters being harvested in order to reduce fishing pressure and impacts on naturally occurring oyster reefs.
