Description: Tax Increment Finacing districts are used throughout the City of Janesville to subsidize redevelopment and infrastructure projects. The polygons in this feature class show the boundaries of those locations and are divided into three groups: active TIF districts, dissolved TIF districts which were formally active and are no longer used and proposed TIF districts, which are potential areas that have not been formally approved. Regardless of type, each is assigned a number that is used to identify it.
