Description: This is the second revision of boundaries for GCV Strategic Economic Investment Locations, January 2016. The 2016 revision, 2nd revision for the SDP2 Proposed Plan to be published in January 2016, contains the following amendments. The Proposed SEIL at Creative Clyde Enterprise Area is to be merged with Pacific Quay and will be renamed Creative Clyde Enterprise Area (incorporating the HYDRO, SECC and Pacific Quay). This SEIL is no longer Proposed. The Proposed Glasgow South Hospital SEIL is no longer proposed and has been renamed as the 'Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow'. Linwood, one of the three Glasgow Airport sites, has now been removed as a SEIL and reclassified as a Freight Hub, renamed Burnbrae Freight Hub. Netherton Farm SEIL has replaced the Linwood as the third Glasgow Airport site. All Glasgow Airport sites have been renamed 'Glasgow Airport Investment Area'. The proposed site at 'BioCity' in North Lanarkshire has been renamed 'Biocity Scotland Proposed Enterprise Area'. Finally, the Ravenscraig SEIL has had the Todhole Basin area to the north of the site and an area to the east removed. The Status of a site has been removed for SDP2. Sites are no longer classified as Opportunity or Safeguarded.The first revisions, SEIL 2014, are as follows. Eurocentral boundary has been amended and part of the site has now become a proposed site to be known as BioCity. Sept 2014 entry: 3 Proposed SEILs are included in the dataset: Glasgow South Hospital Campus; Creative Clyde Enterprise Area including the SECC and Hydro, and; BioCity. City Science has been renamed to be known as ' International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone, (ITREZ)'. Peel Park North boundary, SL, has been amended to remove an area to north west of site as requested by Scottish Government Reporter.
