Note not all sites on HSE site are included in this feature class as Consultation is not required on all sites in HSE register (as per DC principle Officer).

This dataset has been compiled from a combination of the Local Plan maps and digital boundaries supplied by the Glasgow and Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan Team. & old Local Plan Greenbelt. Amendments made to these to give current extent of Greenbelt.
Description: The Open Space Audit is a record of all types of openspace, including all greenspaces and civic spaces, that contribute to the amenity of an area regardless of accessibility, ownership or development potential. Based on the PAN65 typology, the open space data has been collected using OS MasterMap base mapping, with each land parcel captured holding the unique Ordnance Survey TOID reference. The extent of the audit was to identify open space within the urban areas. Local Plan settlement boundaries were revised to ensure that where the land formed an obvious link to the urban area this land would be included in the study area. For land that was considered to form the start of the countryside this has been stored separately in the feature class OpenSpace_UrbanFringe, and is not part of the study area. This will explain why the reference numbers do not always run concurrently as some references will have been extraced and stored within the UrbanFringe feature class. The boundaries are stored in the feature class Openspace_Project_Boundaries This feature class has been PAI adjusted. Four alterations to assigned PLU have been made after the LUC quality assessment: SS_062 has been changed from 6.31 to 6.71; SS_103 has been changed from 6.31 to 6.9; SS_180 has been changed from 6.72 to 6.82, and; SS_236 has been changed from 6.72 to 6.82. These changes have been made throughout all associated feature classes.
Important: This dataset is a snap shot of what the open space in Renfrewshire looked like in Feb 2007. Ordnance Survey MasterMap is updated every quarter and as a result what is shown on the mapping may not necessarily match what is recorded in the open space audit. Description: MeridianTM 2 is a mid-scale digital representation of Great Britain that allows considerable customisation of its transport network and topographic themes, which means that the user can create functional geographic solutions for their business needs.
All of the geographical features are extracted from existing Ordnance Survey databases and are fully maintained in order to deliver an annual product update. When used in conjunction with users own compatible data the resulting application is a truly useful GIS asset.
The product is typically viewed at 1:50,000 and at this scale the generalisation of its features maintain geometric integrity and accuracy.
