OCWP - Water Supply Systems Pipelines This dataset represents the approximate location of distribution water pipelines for public water supply systems evaluated as part of the Oklahoma Comprehensive Water Plan. Most of the pipelines were taken from the 1995 Rural Water Systems in Oklahoma dataset. The pipeline data was gathered from various sources at various scales and degrees of accuracy and precision. This information was plotted on county maps and then digitized. The intent of the original dataset was to show size of the pipelines and their spatial extent for planning purposes.

Beginning in 2015, additional public water system distribution pipelines were mapped by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and added to this dataset, as well as pipeline data from systems mapped by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce GeoCIP Program.
