Service Description: As part of the base map data layers, the road centerline map layer is an integral part of the County of Clearwater, Geographic Information System. Base map data layers are accessed by personnel in most County departments for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production.
Attribute Accuracy Report: The County completed a project in 2007 for correcting street name problems. Another project was completed in 2011 that checked the accuracy and completeness of all street segment attributes. This project was to make the street centerline map and database suitable for use by emergency dispatch personnel on a county-wide level. All street attributes should be correct. Address range was originally created as existing address range. These attributes were changed to full potential range as some addresses where being missed due to new assignments. The thoroughfare classification attributes have been reviewed by the GIS department staff and are accurate. This is a progressive layer reviewed to current time.
