Description: NEVI Compliant Stations within Illinois

NEVI Compliant DC Fast chargers with 4 ports and a minimum power level of 600 kwh

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is developing a statewide Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging plan in coordination with multiple state agencies and the University of Illinois. The goal of this plan is to give EV drivers confidence and flexibility when traveling for work, recreation, or exploration in the State of Illinois.  This mapping tool is for informational purposes only and is here to give Illinoisian’s a way to show where the greatest need for charging is in the state.  Participants are asked to explain why the location they selected is appropriate for EV charging infrastructure considerations. IDOT will evaluate these locations when considering final locations for EV infrastructure under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
