Description:

This feature class has been modified and attributed by Andrew Bartshire, GIS Analyst, California Sea Grant, Windsor, CA (abartshire@ucsd.edu / 707-687-0999). It is based on LiDAR derived streams layer below but customized and attributed to fit the needs to the Russian River Salmon and Steelhead Monitoring Program. Streams outside of Sonoma County are based on the CDFW CA_streams layer. The polyline features within this dataset represent modeled stream centerlines. Stream centerlines were digitized primarily using bare earth hydro-enforced rasters derived from LiDAR data acquired for NASA/Sonoma Veg Map in 2013, and attributed with existing, approved National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) streamline attributes where NHD data were coincident. The datum is NAD83 (2011).
