This feature class is an extract, or subset, of the Parcels feature class that describes easements granted to the Forest Preserve District of Will County. Each feature corresponds to the geographic footprint of an easement conveyed to the District by a landowner through an agreement. Easements may overlap and vary greatly in size, depending on the terms of individual agreements. This feature class does not describe easements granted by the District to other entitites or easements on property that the District owns or manages (see Exceptions feature class.) The feature class also provides a preserve name, preserve code, parcel code, tract number, and acreage for each easement. This feature class is intended to be used in conjuunction with the Preserves or Tracts feature classes, which do not contain these features.
