This shapefile contains data from a GPS static survey performed in order to establish high-accuracy geodetic coordinates (latitude, longitude, ellipsoid height) on ten passive marks on the campus of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. This report documents the planning, execution, and post-processing of the project. The project was completed by students in the Geodetic Positioning class in Fall 2023, conducted by professor John Bean, PE, GISP. The project was managed by student Jacob Wysko. Established by Kyle McNelis and Stephen Ball in their 2013 senior design project, the monuments were installed for use in the Geospatial Engineering program for future departmental and organizational projects.
