Description: Original pX_Forest shapefiles were delineated from Phase I Forest Inventory in the late 1990s and early 2000s. These stand files cover all MVP pools, but were previously stored by pool. The ES_FMG_Stands_p2_12 feature class was initially created by merging all pX_Forest shapefiles into a single file geodatabase feature class and, consequently, was initially a direct duplicate of the pX_Forest shapefiles. However, numerous topology errors are present and there are multiple areas where stand boundaries are not consistent with pool, compartement or LUAP boundaries. There are also many instances where stand boundaries clip off small portions of forested area on islands or shorelines.
