Description: Polygon locations of wildland urban interface zones within the City of Atascadero. The Coordinates for this dataset are State Plane Coordinate System, Zone 5, NAD 1983 Feet.
Developed from CalFire's Very High fire risk areas and the Fire Severity Zones from SLO County's 2000 Safety Element. Atascadero staff combined the two maps and made slight edge adjustments to follow property lines and ensure neighborhood compatibility. Adopted by council on 3/9/2021.
