This dataset delineates the proposed boundary of Zone A as defined for the Clark County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) Amendment. Zone A encompasses lands that are within urban areas that are less likely to contain Covered Species or provide habitat for Covered Species. This boundary is critical for land use planning, environmental review, and conservation efforts within Clark County, Nevada. The area within this boundary may be subject to specific development and mitigation requirements, while all other land within the MSHCP Amendment Plan Area will be designated as Zone B.
This dataset delineates the boundaries of the Riparian Reserve Units managed by the Clark County Desert Conservation Program (DCP). These reserve units consist of lands acquired by the County along the Muddy and Virgin Rivers. The units were established as part of the Clark County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) to conserve and restore vital desert riparian habitats. Management within these areas focuses on habitat restoration, invasive species control, and monitoring to benefit Covered Species.
This dataset delineates the boundary of the Boulder City Conservation Easement (BCCE), an area of over 87,000 acres established in 1995. Located within the jurisdictional boundaries of Boulder City, Nevada, the BCCE is managed by the Clark County Desert Conservation Program (DCP). It was created as a condition of the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) to preserve a large, contiguous area of habitat. The easement is managed to retain the area in a natural condition and prevent uses that would impair its conservation value.
This layer contains the boundaries for the proposed Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) Amendment Reserve System. The purpose of the proposed Reserve System is to serve as mitigation to offset impacts from Covered Activities. Boundaries may be subject to change.
These datasets are aligned to the following federal datasets where possible:
October 2020 Nevada Public Land System Survey(PLSS)
BLM Surface Management Agency Layer
BLM NLCS Layers
BLM Utility Corridors.
Road Centerline and offset data from the 2009 SNPLMA Roads Inventory and Official Clark County Street Centerline datasets.
Aerial Imagery was used to determine NDOT fenceline, which is the assumed NDOT Right of way Boundary.
