Description: Small wards from the OS Electoral Divisions (Ward Boundaries) have been merged to provide a product for balanced spatial splitting over Northumberland. This product is intended to facilitate the production of balanced file sizes when working with vector data (e.g. OS Topography MasterMap) at large scales.These geometries mimic the boundaries of Former Districts Councils within Northumberland before LGR (Local Government Reorganisation), with the option to keep up-to-date with actual administrative boundaries.
