This file contains 2021 parcel centroid data for individual New York State counties. Parcel centroids were generated using the NYS Office of Information Technology Services GIS Program Office's (GPO) Statewide Parcel Map program data. Attribute values were populated using 2021 Assessment Roll tabular data the GPO obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Three counties have older data vintages: 2018 (Monroe), 2019 (Westchester), 2020 (Rockland), all with 2020 Assessment attributes, and will be updated when newer data can be obtained from the counties. Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City parcel data comes from NYC MapPluto (https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page)
The data contained in the file is an extract of the information provided on the New York State Department of Transportation Traffic Data Viewer. The information is a combination of Traffic Count Station attributes and count statistics for the 2019 year and is displayed as line segments on the roads. Both directional and full roadway data is in the file. This file contains the Annual Average Daily Traffic values as calculated by the New York State Department of Transportation Traffic Monitoring Section for 2019.

A vector polygon GIS file of all city and town boundaries in New York State. The file was originally a compilation of U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000-scale digital vector files and NYS Department of Transportation 1:24,000-scale and 1:75,000-scale digital vector files. Boundaries were revised to 1:24,000-scale positional accuracy and selectively updated based on municipal boundary reviews, court decisions and NYS Department of State Local Law filings for annexations, dissolutions, and incorporations. Currently, boundary changes are made based on NYS Department of State Local Law filings (http://locallaws.dos.ny.gov/). Additional updates and corrections are made as needed in partnership with municipalities.
