Abstract: This dataset displays water supply pressure zones within the New Plymouth District. This layer is intended to identify the pressure zone which a parcel is connected to, these parcel have then been aggregated to show the assessment, of which one or many parcels may be connected or able to connect. It DOES NOT inform if a property is connected to the water network. This data is collected to support the maintenance and management of the NPDC water network. This layer identifies Water Supply Pressure zones.

Lineage: Attribute information is stored as themes against an assessment in NPDC's Property Management System. This is joined to parcel (spatial) dataset during NPDC's monthly cadastral updates. It's published as a GIS feature class for use within NPDC GIS applications and open data portal. There may be significant delays before data is updated to reflect changes in an area.
