Description:

Abstract: This dataset displays water supply pressure zones within the New Plymouth District. This layer is intended to identify the pressure zone which a parcel is connected to, these parcel have then been aggregated to show the assessment, of which 1 or many parcels may be connected or able to connect. It DOES NOT inform if a property is connected to the water network. This data is collected to support the maintenance and management of the NPDC water network. This layer identifies Water Supply Pressure zone.

Lineage: Attribute information is stored as themes against an assessment in NPDC's Property Management System. This is joined to parcel (spatial) dataset during monthly cadastral updates. It's published as a GIS feature class for use within NPDC GIS applications and open data portal. There may be significant delays before data is updated to reflect changes in an area.
