Abstract: This dataset displays a selection of buried cables within the New Plymouth District area. To be used in conjunction with Taranaki Cables Feature dataset. Dataset contains NPDC cables only, please contact other asset owners for further buried cable data. This data is collected to support Council's consenting purposes, the general public for reference, and for other utilities providers for reference use.

Lineage: The spatial data has been compiled from a number of sources and its accuracy may vary (e.g. survey plans, as-built plans and forms, sketches, aerial photo, Google Street View).
