Description: This dataset includes inventory information and an initial evaluation of pedestrian bridges for DNREC throughout Delaware. The collected inventory data was reviewed and processed to prioritize, strategize, and provide recommendations to DNREC regarding the order for which structures are to receive a Bridge Condition Assessment of existing structures and make repair recommendations in accordance with findings from the condition assessment. This is the beginning effort for DNREC in developing a thorough inventory, inspection program, and maintenance program as part of an overarching goal to eventually establish an asset management program for their statewide trail bridge infrastructure.
