Description: This file contains address points for Winneshiek County, Iowa. The dataset was developed from November, 2009 to January, 2011 as part of the Iowa DNR’s Geocoding project. Preliminary data were derived from parcel centroids provided by Winneshiek County GIS Department. Additional address points were created using information obtained from a variety of sources. Aerial photography was used to place each address point at the property’s access location. Addresses were standardized and validated using ZP4 database.
