Description: This file was created at the request of San Joaquin County's Deputy Director of Engineering (Najee Zarif). The file is updated upon request from Transportation Engineering with the aid of the SJC PW GIS Team. This file represents the State Wide Integrated Traffic Reporting System(SWITRS) collisions provided by the California Highway Patrol(CHP). These collisions having occurred/reported in “San Joaquin-Unincorxporated” for the calendar year associated e.g. “SWITRS2019” for the year of 2019. Verified by Traffic Engineering staff to only pertain to collisions having occurred within areas of San Joaquin County Public Works jurisdiction or Right-of-Way during the year of the layer. Marked by severity of the collision. Note: “ReportNo” corresponds to the SWITRS designation and not the CHP “Local Report Number”.”
