The Fire Reporting Areas are the City of Durham (FR1), Durham County (FR2), and other jurisdictions inside and outside of Durham County (FR3). This layer is part of an original dataset provided and maintained by Durham City/County GIS Services and the City of Durham Fire Department. It is updated quarterly as municipal annexations are effective and as needed. The data in this layer are represented as polygons.
