Description:

Traffic signal layer is a GIS dataset maintained by the System Operations Branch in the Division of Traffic Operations. The maintenance of the layer is driven by Traffic Signal Checklists. These checklists are approvals for new installations, removals, and attribute modifications. When a checklist for a new installation is received a dot is arbitrarily placed in the center of the intersection. The data is primarily location data. The district, county and the names of the intersection approaches are included to each signal location.
