This dataset is created by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s (KYTC) Office of Information and Technology and the Division of Maintenance’s Snow and Ice group to define snow and ice removal priorities in compliance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines. Each route is assigned a priority based on average daily traffic to ensure safe and efficient winter travel:</span></span></div><div style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); border:0px solid currentcolor; box-sizing:border-box; color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-family:&quot;Aptos Narrow&quot;, Calibri, &quot;sans-serif&quot;, &quot;Mongolian Baiti&quot;, &quot;Microsoft Yi Baiti&quot;, &quot;Javanese Text&quot;, &quot;Yu Gothic&quot;; font-size:14.6667px; font-style:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-weight:400; height:auto; letter-spacing:normal; line-height:inherit; overflow:hidden; padding-right:10px; text-align:left; text-decoration-color:initial; text-decoration-style:initial; text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; word-spacing:0px;"><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="border:0px solid currentcolor; box-sizing:border-box; line-height:1.5;">•Priority A: Interstates, parkways, and major roads with the highest traffic volumes.
