Description: <p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><font color="#2f4f4f" size="3" style>This feature layer, sourced from the National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD), includes the names, boundaries, and locations of Kentucky MPOs. MPOs coordinate with the state to report transportation performance targets, including baseline safety performance, Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) targets, and progress toward achieving HSIP goals. Each MPO’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) includes these targets and performance data. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) oversee the program, working with MPOs and state Departments of Transportation (DOTs). </font></span></p>
