Source map scale is approximately 1:2,400. The legal Park boundary description is found in New York State Environmental Conservation Law Section 9-0101. The Adirondack Park was created by the State of New York in 1892. The park boundary is commonly referred to as the Blue Line. Line attributes include the basis for the line segment such as original patent survey, municipal boundary, or water feature, and the text description from state law.
