Description: This dataset represents visually interpreted human made disturbances on the land surface throughout the province of Alberta in the year circa 2019. Polylines features digitized from SPOT imagery at 30,000. Spatial accuracy is data source dependent. Spatial accuracy of features created by heads-up digitization is approximately 10 to 20 meters [ RMSE]. Sources of imagery representing years 1999 through 2019.
This dataset includes data collected and created by the Alberta Human Footprint Monitoring Program and the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute.
