Service Description: This map demonstrates space allocation of cities throughout Oregon. Based on a Euclidian distance, or straight-line distance, each polygon represents the closest distance to that city than to any other. While this has useful applications, it is critical to remember this is based on a straight-line distance, not driving distance, which can create unusual polygon shapes that are inaccurate for travel assistance.
