Description: This data is created for the purposes of accomplishing a project that needed to consider the newly approved Ghana Regions. Itis to assist mapping of the locations of Queen mothers in Ghana.As the time this data was created, there has not been any authorized shapefile of the new Ghana regions from Lands Commission or Ghana Statistical Service. This data was created from the old authorized Ghana districts shapefiles using the district boundary. So it has the same spatial resolution as the old Ghana Regions shapefile just that the newregional boundaries have be added using the already existing boundaries of the districts. The creators of this shapefile did not create this shapefile by digitizing but by geoprocessing exising authorized Ghana District shapefile.

Description: This data is created for the purposes of accomplishing a project that needed to consider the newly approved Ghana Regions. Itis to assist mapping of the locations of Queen mothers in Ghana.As the time this data was created, there has not been any authorized shapefile of the new Ghana regions from Lands Commission or Ghana Statistical Service. This data was created from the old authorized Ghana districts shapefiles using the district boundary. So it has the same spatial resolution as the old Ghana Regions shapefile just that the newregional boundaries have be added using the already existing boundaries of the districts. The creators of this shapefile did not create this shapefile by digitizing but by geoprocessing exising authorized Ghana District shapefile.
