Description: Shasta County Situs (physical) address point layer is intended for general reference, geocoding and mapping. This layer is not a legal document and should not be used as such. Within the Shasta County Situs (physical) address point layer the actual situs points have been moved onto the rooftop of the structure(s) in a parcel. This allows for a more specific location when mapping, geocoding or for general reference. Confirmation of each address situs point was done with the use of Google Maps Street View 2007-2016 imagery, ShastaGeo.DBO.Parcels layer, Megabyte and for City of Redding an annotaion layer was provided by City of Redding. This annotaion layer was added to Shasta County's database on, or close to, 02/04/2016 and named ShastaGeo.DBO.CORAddressAnno.
