Service Description: This data represents historic precinct polygons for the date range of 2012 to 2021 based on the 2010 census data, 2012-2020 Congressional Districts, 2012-2020 Legislative Districts, and registered voter data. This update is part of the Auditor’s Office re-precincting process. It is used to determine voting districts for registered voters in Pierce County for each election. Precinct boundaries are reviewed annually and may be adjusted according to RCW 29A.16.040 and are authorized by Pierce County Ordinance Pierce County Ordinance 2012-12s, as Amended by Ordinance Nos. 2013-15, 2014-26, 2015-19, 2016-10, 2017-11, 2018-14, 2019-89 and 2021-7. Please contact the Pierce County Elections Office for annual changes to the map between 2012-2020. This layer represents the final map used in 2021. General election voting turnout data was joined to the election precincts to display voter turnout per precinct.
