Service Description: This data set depicts the external boundary of lands and waters administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service including National Wildlife Refuges. The State of Alaska, Division of Community and Regional Affairs, downloaded the source data on 12/17/2024 and simplified it for the specific use in a permitting application. The following simplifications were made: Removed features with area less than 10mill of the default units in the service, dissolved features based on unit attribute, edited some unit labeling to fix null values, dissolved features based on unit attribute with multipart enabled.
