Description: 8/31/2021 Updated Forest Hill Area using GPS and a site visit 8/23/2021, further attribution will come later. The GPS worked pretty good in most areas struggled in dense canopy setting.8/23/2021 Updated Stadium P3 area using a .dwg supplied by JW Hampton given to me by Dainel Gryder.5/13/2021 Email request from Matt Makdad: Matt Makdad2:31 PMEddieWould like the following items added to Switch Feature Class, Attribute SUBTYPE CD NRLP:OVERHEAD - GANG OPERATED SWITCHOVERHEAD - KNIFE BLADE(S)OVERHEAD - FUSE SAVER(S)OVERHEAD - FUSED DISCONNECT(S)JUNCTION CABINET - 1 PHASE JUNCTION CABINET - 3 PHASE - 2 POINT JUNCTION CABINET - 3 PHASE - 3 POINTJUNCTION CABINET - 3 PHASE - 4 POINTDelete:JUNCTION CABINETSWITCHBOARD7/9/2018 This, feature class was updated with a 2017 survey. The Old High School property was surveyed by Timothy W. Caldwell License number L-5232, September 27, 2017, Mattern & Crag Engineers and Surveyors. Data is considered 90% accurate, and data was collected between 8/ 5-18 / 2017. All coordinates are based on NCGS NAD/83/ 2011 and all elevations are based on NAVD 88. 1/5/2018 Added 40 switches from NRLP CAD needs to be spatialy edited and atributed. Images would also be helpful. 8/22/2017 Images were attached to all 51 points that came from Rochester’s many folders a python script was run to place all images into an organized folder.Scott Eggers data from 03/14/2017 has been transferred to this feature class today 08/07/2017. Some electrical switches were attributed by Rochester as transformers and some transformers were attributed as electrical switches. As Scott discovers these small mix-ups are being corrected.3/14/2017 Under construction in NRLP GeoDatebase3/3/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress. An electrical switch is a device that can break an electrical circuit, interrupting the current diverting it from one conductor to another. In this dataset 47 electrical switches were geolocated and photographed between 9/9/2014 and 11/3/2014; however, 16 of those do not have a date listed. Nothing is entered in the following columns: id, owner, install_yr and source. The PM_Number column tells the name of the specific electrical switch, all but one has a listed name, pointid63, 52882. There are only a few entries in the following columns, dimensions, comments, and they are: dimensions column 6x6, (7) 5x5, 4x5, and 2.5x2.5, comments column, NC2, WC3, WC2, and NC3.
