This procedure has taken sometime and I am sure I have missed some things but the vector basemap looks much cleaner now. I would have thought Rochester would have done this for us as a final draft of their services. All of the line features that should be a closed item are now. As I run across others they will be corrected as well. 3/23/2018 Updated 10/9/2017 ASU Parking has absorbed ASU unpaved parking. Many of the features were already in the paved feature class but attributed incorrectly.3/6/2017 Editor Tracker has been added to this feature class. All of the attributes have been appropriately updated and meaningless columns omitted. However, this is a work in progress.In this dataset 116 polygons were remotely sensed, throughout the Appalachian State University area using aerial photography. The total shape length is 116,174 feet and the area is 60 acers. It would be great if this attribute dataset included when the section of parking lot was installed, its current condition. 20 of the polygons are named the other 96 are left blank. As of 07/28/2016, there is no information about when this data was acquired.This feature class was updated by Edward Hyle 1/30/2017. Each of the now, 153 polygons have been named and classified: 10 Min Public Parking, 20 Min Public Parking, Event Parking, Faculty Parking, Fire Land, Possible Future Student Parking, Service Only, and Student Parking. As far as the future parking, polygons have been created as requested at the old high school site off HWY 105 using the 2014 aerial photography. The polygons not associated with ASU have been omitted. The total shape length is 124,607 feet and the area is 2601651 square feet.Woodard & Curran, Rochester & Associates, Inc.
