        <idAbs>This statewide shapefile contains the freshwater surface water classifications for Trout Waters in North Carolina.  This data was first uploaded on March 29, 2016 and originally pulled from BIMS in November 2014.  To learn more about what classifications are, see the &lt;a href='https://deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/water-resources/planning/classification-standards/classifications' target='_blank'&gt;Classifications and Standards/Rule Review Branch&lt;/a&gt; website. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Supplemental classification intended to protect freshwaters which have conditions which shall sustain and allow for trout propagation and survival of stocked trout on a year-round basis.
