involves substantial monetary or operational consequences.</span>Fish collection data shown on the OWRB's Fish Monitoring Site web app.<div>Data represents all fish species caught as part of the OWRB's stream monitoring program and depicted in the <a href='https://owrb.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=33cca35f06e64c4f8f84fc9bf0228218' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>Fish Monitoring sites web application</a> in the Sportfish (Number Caught), All Fish Species (Number Caught), and Species Caught (by Taxonomic Name) layers.</div><div><br /></div><div><div><p style='margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:13px;'><font size='3' style='background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);'>Biological specimens, including fish, are collected as part of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board's statistical survey <a href='https://www.owrb.ok.gov/quality/monitoring/monitoring.php' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>monitoring program</a>.
Once a year between May and October, fish are collected from each
stream reach using seines or electrofishing equipment (if water
conditions permit). Most fish are identified in the field, including all
large fish. Only unidentifiable fish and voucher specimens are removed
and kept for later identification. At selected sites, some predator fish
may be kept for fish tissue analysis.<br /></font></p><p style='margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:13px;'><span style='background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);'><font size='3'>This layer contains details of fish collections at more than 500 stream
monitoring sites from 2003 to 2020. More than 150 species are
represented. </font></span><span style='background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);'></span></p><p style='margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:13px;'><font size='3' style='background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);'>For
