Additionally, estimates of smaller and harder-to-count populations tend to have less reliability than estimates for larger segments of the population. Although the Census Bureau publishes detailed population and housing characteristics, some aggregated categories can mask important trends in the data, especially regarding race and ethnicity. Registered to streets. The street linework is contained within the street rights-of-way as shown on the tax lot layer. As the tax lot horizonal accuracy is improved, streets are adjusted accordingly. The tax lots are digitized at +/- 10 feet accuracy. Beaverton, Oregon City and Tigard planning areas are improved to +/- 5 feet accuracy. Multnomah County was created with coordinate geometry using better control. The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) code was added to the block group file. It provides a unique nationwide census ID using state, county, tract and block group. For example tract 1.00 is 41 + 051 + 000100 or 41051000100. Block group 1 for this tract is 410510001001.
