Buildings with less than 100 square feet (such as small sheds) are not captured. Provides the location, functional uses, size in square feet, and number of residential units for every building within the City of Alexandria. A related table (Bld_Uses) is associated with this feature class which provides detailed use information and documents the sources for all attribute. Buildings with multiple uses are summarized and display the total size and unit count for the entire structure. Buildings uses, square footage, and unit counts are assembled using a variety of sources with varying degrees of accuracy. The GIS Division is currently adding additional uses and refining existing information to improved accuracy. Please note that some buildings do not contain use information at this time.
